INCANTATION
Enchantment is
for the novice.
It’s for the one
who thinks
that Love
is a sustainable
source of energy
wrought from a racing
heart and weak knees.
The novice has not
yet opened
the door.
It’s for the girl who
to the boy
is not one of many.
It’s for the boy who
has the girl
that adores
him unconditionally.
The novice is not you
the novice is not me
for we have opened
the jaded door
and we are neither
of the three.
